Kaziranga National Park, Assam
Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the state of Assam in northeastern India. It is one of the most famous wildlife destinations in India and is known for its conservation efforts of the one-horned Indian rhinoceros. The national park covers an area of 430 square kilometers and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is also a designated Important Bird Area, with over 400 bird species found here, including the endangered Bengal florican. The park is divided into four zones: Central, Western, Eastern, and Burapahar. The Central zone is the most popular and accessible to tourists, where you can go on a jeep safari or elephant safari to explore the park and spot wildlife.
